Create A Relaxing Home Spa Retreat With Dallas Feng Shui

You may not have the opportunity to take a full week of silence and rest, but you can still create mini-retreat for a day in your own residence. The idea is to make more “yin” ( calm ) energy and take sanctuary from the hyper-”yang” ( active ) world we live in.

The day before your retreat begins :

* Clear all of the litter and then deep clean your bedroom and master bath with essential oil products. Better yet, delegate it and have the whole house cleaned! Make certain there’s no muddle beneath your bed ( so chi can circulate round you and help refresh you ).
* Menu-plan, make a shopping list and stock up on fresh fruits, veggies, juices, smoothies, supplements, detoxification teas, little spa treats and such like. If doing a cleanse, buy all of your necessary herbs
* Put fresh green colored sheets on your bed and clean gold towels in the bathroom to support your healing.
* Surround yourself with beautifully scented, fresh flowers.
* Gather contemplative music, meditation cd’s, and dharma talks as well as sacred texts or poetry you would like to read.
* Unplug all computers, phones, TVs and have a sabbatical from your cell telephone, e-mail, the nightly news and newspapers. Make efforts to unplug all electronics in your bedroom.
* Mix up an aromatherapy spritzer using filtered water and sweet orange, neroli or bergamot oils. When you spray it over yourself or in your environment, it will enhance and lift up your chi.

During Your Retreat :

* Drink from pitchers of filtered water with fresh orange slices.
* Create little at-home spa treatments with a reflexology roller ; steam inhalations or scented hot cloths with essential oils ; herbal foot soaks ; body brushing ; salt scrubs ; facials and such like.
* Take part in tea ceremonies with beautiful pots, cups and teas from Japan, India or China.
* Play singing bowls, gongs, tingshaws or bells around your own body and thru your space.
* Move your body every day with movement practices such as qi gong, yoga, tai chi or free-form dancing.
* Eat your meals ( super-healthy ones ) outside in the unpolluted air.
* Pray at sunrise or beneath the night stars out in the dewy grass.
* Write honestly in your book about everything in your life that is draining your life force-people, events, situations, things, thoughts and habits. Make a promise after your spa retreat to begin to clear them one at a time until you feel free!
* Turn off all of the lights at nightfall and go by the light of candles or lanterns. Go to sleep early and give your chi deep restoration.
* create a special altar in your bedroom devoted to your healing, rejuvenation and non secular life.
* Be quiet. Meditate. Take sleeps.
* Adjust your chi with the breathe / exhale Breathing Meditation which you will find over at my blog.

And now? Open your calendar and schedule yourself for some deep rejuvenation-a week, a day, half-day-for as long as you can! And don’t forget to make time for the preparations. Enjoy and luxuriate in the Feng Shui of your body, mind and spirit.

Dallas Feng Shui Gives You Easy Way To Have A Good Energy Living Space

The feng shui expert will investigate all sides of your home or property but there are a few key areas to focus on and the entrance / entrance hall area of the business or home is at the apex of the list.

The flooring in this key area must be liquid and create an immediate sense of depth. Your visitors will naturally feel drawn into your entrance hall. The flooring in the foyer should never seriously change color or pattern but have a continuous liquid appearance.

Next we look at flooring and room compatibility, which considers the size and shape of the room and ceiling height. Rooms with vaulted or high volume ceilings where the wall color is light can gain advantages from darker shades of flooring. A darker flooring color anchors the energy in the room and will create an atmosphere of balance and stability. Infrequently people won’t gather for long periods of time in a room where the the space feels empty and hollow. Architecturally, when this is the case the flooring choice can compensate for this.

Lighter shades of flooring with minimal design are the best for smaller spaces or lower ceilings.

Split-levels or disjointed floor plans will be advantageous to the most by trying one color of flooring. In feng shui, we correct problematic floor plans that will lack flow by carrying one or two design elements throughout the house to make continuity and flow.

Flooring selections have a tremendous impact on the feng shui of a business or home. The flooring must never dominate the space but be compatible with the room. Using natural materials and color decisions that represent nature is a trend that is growing. People don’t become bored of a natural palette and they like feeling more connected to the natural world.

Flooring must suit your way of life ; if you have got a serious traffic environment durable low maintenance flooring is the best feng shui choice. Feng shui hopes to create harmony and a high maintenance flooring choice with growing youngsters in a home will have an effect on your daily life. Commercial grade carpets are designed so wonderfully now I believe they make an excellent choice for flooring in a home where there’s a lot of traffic.

Things To Remember On Choosing The Ideal Location Of Your House By Dallas Feng Shui

Feng shui is a sorta manual about the placement and architecture of a house to allow good flow of energy. And it isn’t just placement of the bed and couch. The position of the house and landscaping will affect the ch’i ( energy ) of the house in a big way. Let’s commence with a few tips to bear in mind when looking inspecting the location for your ideal home.

1. First and most vital, research the history of a property. Find out what occurred with the prior tenants, and the ones before them. And even the ones before them. Ask neighbors, or selling agent. If all the previous inhabitants had money Problems, family Problems, etc, probabilities are there’s bad feng shui going on. Best to move on and look for another house.

2. Focus on the road placement. The road in front of your house shouldn’t be pointing directly into your home. If a home is sitting at a dead end, in a T-intersection, or in the center of cul-de-sac, then energy is continually flowing straight down that road into the house, then building up and stagnating there. This isn’t good ; the ch’i must continue to flow, like air. If it gets stuck in your house, it can go bad.

three. Pay attention to what’s round the house. Inspect the terrain closely. Ideally, the property should have a dark turtle in the back ( a mountain or hill, another house, a row of trees, a fence, for example. ), a dragon ( a home, a tree ) to the left, a white tiger ( a smaller house or tree ) to the right, and a phoenix ( open ground, a circular flowerbed, a meandering brook or road ) in front. All those exotic names are just a neat way to state the simple -a house by itself isn’t ideal, since there is nothing to slow the flow of ch’i. Most homes will have all these things around them already, but it does not hurt to think about it your very first time seeing a place. Other stuff to think about are “poison arrows,” like telephone poles, flagpoles, or the corner of a place pointing your way. They can obstruct the energy flow to the house. Even a hospital can be a source of bad energy.

four. Something that doubtless doesn’t automatically spring to mind is the shape of the property ; but that can be very important as well . Always go for something symmetrical, like a square or a rectangle. If your property is really close to square, use hedges to fill in the spots that make it irregular. Triangle-shaped properties can create disharmony. If you just love a place and absolutely need to have an it but it is’s on a triangle-shaped lot, it’s better for the wide side to be in the back ; the other way indicates an inability to save cash.

When you visit a property, notice the shapes of the things around. I know it sounds peculiar, but sort of squint your eyes and see what you see, like you used to do as a kid, when you were taking a look at the clouds in the sky. If anything looks like something hostile, then be careful. That could be an indication of some anti-ch’i. You need enough stuff to slow the energy down to capture it but permit it to also flow.
